High-Tech Systems Project Manager

Your job as High-Tech Systems Project Manager

As High-Tech Systems Project Manager at Technolution, you’re likely to be in charge of multiple projects at the same time. We use electronics, embedded software and programmable logic to develop advanced technological solutions for clients in the high-tech sector. Examples are metrological systems for semiconductor equipment, electron scanners for life sciences applications and high-speed data processing technology for the aerospace industry.  

In many of your projects, you’ll be using a unique, Agile-based approach, in which you apply short-cycle software development methods to electronics development. This means that you are likely to encounter unexpected developments even during the project – and sometimes that means trouble! As High-Tech Systems Project Manager, you have the drive and the confidence to resolve these problems and you’re able to convey this positive attitude to your team, in the knowledge that Technolution will always have your back with broad support from across the organization.

You are our clients’ and partners’ link with Technolution. You’re the one who keeps the conversation going about principles and specifications, interfaces with other components and the division of tasks between the various partners. Whenever necessary, you take the initiative to take decisions and you do this on the basis of clear assessments regarding time, money, resources, functionalities and quality. You translate the client’s wishes into a fully-fledged project plan and are responsible for the planning and financial health of your projects.

You are an inspiring ally for the technical colleagues on your teams. Thanks to your technological experience, you speak their language and you are able to actively engage with them about the best route to a solution. You are enterprising and alert to commercial opportunities. You work together with our business developers to draw up quotes for new components.
