Junior Technical Buyer

Location: Gouda
Education level: MBO
Contract time: Full-time

A good purchase deal, that’s what gives you a boost. But only if it’s a smart deal, one that isn’t just about the price, but also about the quality of the products, the reliability of the supplier and continuity of the relationship. That is something you can really get excited about: building and maintaining a network, negotiating about supplies, forging agreements for the future. All this to ensure that Technolution is able to keep its promises to our clients. You have affinity with electronics, and you like to have the freedom to organize your work the way you want it.

Your job as a Junior Technical Buyer

As a Junior Technical Buyer, you will start as our Senior Technical Buyer’s right-hand person. He needs a hand, because Technolution is growing and so is demand for our electronic products and solutions. Working in tandem with the Senior Technical Buyer, your job is to ensure that all required parts, assemblages, casings and accessories are delivered on time. Together, you guarantee the continuous production and delivery of our electronic products and solutions.

After training, you’ll have more independence in your job, as you gain a better grasp of the production process. You’ll develop a sixth sense for good suppliers, learn the language used in the sector and work to get ever better deals. If the situation requires, you go out to meet the suppliers, either to strengthen your ties with them or to get what Technolution is owed. Your main focus in all this is the premium quality of our products. You consult frequently with our technical colleagues and support the production and delivery processes. Your task is to guarantee the supply security of parts and flag up any threats to the continuity on time. This means keeping a close eye on stock, orders and deliveries and being willing to give solicited or unsolicited advice about this to others.
