Your job as Defense Business Developer
As Defense Business Developer, you are the person who markets our Defense solutions. These include such products as A-PNT (Assured Positioning, Navigation & Timing) and CEMA (Cyber-Electromagnetic Activities). In other words: advanced technology that is hugely important in the current international context.
A strong network is key to this position, particularly in the Defense sector. Ideally, you’ve already laid the groundwork for this before you join us, which can then serve as the launching pad for further expansion of our client and partner network. You understand the requirements of our clients and can translate these into fitting solutions. You work with your colleagues on tenders and offers, with you taking the lead. And after the commercial stage has led to the setting up of a new project, you remain involved. You keep in touch with the project manager and the client and safeguard the commercial aspects of the project.
As a representative of Technolution, your enterprising attitude never flags. You foster not only your external contacts, but also work to build a network within the organization. You spar with fellow Business Developers, project managers, and management. You contribute to our thinking on our marketing strategy for your sector. Every year, you present an account plan for business development with existing and new products and services. You’re able to present this offer persuasively to your relations, and can transform leads into great contracts for Technolution.
At Technolution, you’re never in it alone. Particularly at the start, you will be coached intensively by your colleagues, both other Business Developers and technical colleagues. Together with your People Development Coach, you’ll draw up a plan for your ongoing personal and professional development. Sharing knowledge is a key value in our organization. Typically you
You have:
- The qualifications to think and work at HBO+ (higher professional education or higher) level
- Experience with business development
- Interest in high-tech Defense products
- Experience with and a network in the Defense sector
