PrimeLink 5001: the next generation of dutch Post-Quantum IP Encryptors
by Tim de Wolf at Nato Edge 2024
Discover how the future of secure communication is being shaped with the PrimeLink 5001. At NATO Edge 2024, Tim de Wolf, expert at Technolution Prime, will present a deep dive into this groundbreaking post-quantum IP encryptor. Designed to tackle the evolving challenges of quantum-resistant communication at layer 3, the PrimeLink 5001 sets a new standard for secure data exchange over open networks.
This advanced encryptor combines state-of-the-art post-quantum cryptography with intuitive management and centralized control, ensuring robust protection without complexity. As a trusted partner of the Dutch Ministry of Defense and other government agencies, Technolution Prime leads the way in developing high-assurance solutions for classified data. Every solution is designed, developed, and assembled entirely in-house under the strictest secure conditions.

About Technolution Prime
Technolution Prime is the technical market leader in preventive High Assurance for classified data in the Netherlands. We design and develop cross-domain and line encryption solutions, frequently collaborating with the Dutch Department of Defense and other Ministries of the Dutch Government. Our offerings include both custom-tailored solutions and standardized security products produced in a secure environment, all developed and assembled in-house.
Line Encryptors
Create secure connections by installing PrimeLinks between your secure network locations across an untrusted network. Only connected PrimeLinks can decrypt each other’s data, creating a secure tunnel across the internet. Data is encrypted and sent through the tunnel with a bandwidth of up to 10 Gbit/sec.
The PrimeLink line encryption portfolio consist out of the following line encryptors: PrimeLink 3015+, PrimeLink 4010 and PrimeLink 5001.
Cross-domain solutions
Whenever connections are established between classified network domains, the information and systems in those domains must be properly secured. Installing an Information Exchange Gateway (IEG) between the network domains creates an effective, secure cross-domain connection.
An IEG consists of several building blocks. At its core stands a device that guards the domain crossing. This can be a data diode, like the PrimeDiode 3010, or PrimeDiode 5001, which permits data traffic in one direction but blocks it in the other direction. Or it can be a data filter, which filters data before it passes through the connection. The central device is supported by proxies on both sides of the domain crossing.
